And So It Begins....

I'm going to China again, this time with two staff persons and 21 undergraduate students. This trip is the first iteration of the Paper International Experience (PIE), a program sponsored by the paper industry and friends and supporters of the Paper Science & Engineering Program at NC State. Students on this trip are subsidized, so that they can spend 10 days in China and pay a very modest fee.

We will be visiting 5 paper mills and two universities with paper science programs. The itinerary includes Shanghai, Nanjing, and Beijing, among other places.
